Mercy Drive Inc. (MDI)is a 501 (3) (C) voluntary not for profit, human service agency. We provide services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. MDI is a multi-cultural agency that provides services in several languages taking into consideration the cultural diversity of New York City. MDI recognizes the need for family involvement in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, by participating in the planning of services, irrespective of language barriers, thereby honoring/preserving/promoting the individual’s cultural background and diversity. We are committed to a personalized planning approach for each person and in doing so, have developed a suite of tools that are used by the staff. The choice of approach will be based on the skills, desires and communication methods of each person who receives our services.
